Survivalist YouTuber builds underground pool using only natural materials

Jungle Survival is a YouTube channel following two men in Cambodia who build stunning villas, tunnel swimming pools and bamboo houses. Each of these functional dwellings is made entirely of natural materials found in the forest and built with their bare hands.

In one video, one of the YouTubers makes an elaborate underground swimming pool. First, he digs a massive square-shaped hole in the ground using a shovel. Next, he begins carving details into the walls of the hole. He makes a resting nook and chisels the appearance of curtains to frame the opening. Then he digs an entire staircase with a doorway for easy entry.

He creates a mud mixture and lines the hole with it to create the pool base. Then he adds a bamboo bridge so that it’s easy to walk across the pool from the nook to the exit. Finally, the YouTuber adds water. He hops in the pool for a swim and he has definitely earned it. The ornate underground hangout has beautiful details at every turn and no carbon footprint.

The impressive clip received 287,000 views on YouTube.

“Imagine accidentally walking into this forest and finding hundreds of these cool structures!” one person commented.

“Those ‘curtains’ I love it so nice and creative,” another said.

“This is so relaxing and beautiful!” another user added.
