Survey Finds Most Newlyweds Agree On The Biggest Wedding Registry Regret

A lot goes into planning your big day because it's the start of your happily ever after, I get it. But please don't let the stress distract you from the important things that'll stay with you forever. And no, I don't mean your significant other or new in-laws, I'm talking about the gifts-sorry fam.

Though it may be pushed aside as a much less important part of the process, what you get will determine exactly how you start your lives together. In fact, there's so much more to it than just selecting the item that's most popular in your state. According to Domino, a recent survey by online wedding registry site Zola-which polled over 1,000 people-revealed a vast majority (over three quarters) of newlyweds regretted not having cookware on their registries.

The takeaway? Even if you're rushing to register different wedding gifts, make sure you have at the very least the basics. A KitchenAid Stand Mixer, for one, is an absolute must if you don't have one already and as the most important popular wedding gift of all, you won't want to miss out.
