The Surprising Reason Why Mark Consuelos Stormed off the ‘Live’ Set Mid-Show

Mark Consuelos isn't known for exhibiting visceral reactions while on the air, but leave it to Jane Krakowski to have the Riverdale alum behaving in a way fans can't stop talking about.

The Live With Kelly and Mark star faced off against the actress during a February 13 taping of the ABC morning show in a rematch of the recurring "Stump Mark" segment. Jane was ready to defend her winning title, even revealing her "I stumped Mark" T-shirt under her blazer. The game consists of a celebrity guest providing two statements and giving Mark 60 seconds to guess which one is true.

This time around, Mark had to decide whether Jane saw the musical Rent 20 times, or if she was invited to compete in an ice skating competition in Lake Placid, New York. Determined not to be tricked, Mark took his time asking following up questions in order to choose the correct answer. He even tried to get help from his wife and co-host Kelly Ripa, who simply shook her head and said, "this is not my game."

"God, you're good!" Mark exclaimed when Jane failed to give anything away. "I'm gonna say... Gosh, this is so obvious, and that's why... I'm gonna say you saw Rent 20 times."

While Mark seemed confident in his answer, Jane surprised him with the ultimate twist. "Give me the shirt, Kelly Ripa," she declared, revealing she had indeed stumped Kelly's husband for the second time. Laughing, Mark had no choice but to walk off the stage and admit defeat while Jane and Kelly jumped and cheered. "He just left! He walked off the set!" Kelly pointed out while Jane took a bow.

Amid the clip circulating on the internet, folks couldn't get over Mark's over-the-top reaction to losing the game on live television.

"It’s Mark walking away in defeat 🤣🤣🤣," one person laughed on TikTok. "OMGOSH!!! Mark is going on... lol," another wrote. "He should have been looking at her legs. it is obvious she was a skater… excellent leg structure 💜," a different follower added.

Needless to say, it looks like Mark needs to brush up on his skills, so he doesn't get stumped a third time.
