SURPRISE! Gabby AND Rachel Are Officially the Next Bachelorette(s)
SURPRISE! Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia are officially ABC's next Bachelorette(s)! I'll give you a moment to scream.
Jesse Palmer announced that the role would go to both of Clayton's finalists during the final moments of the finale, and they seemed shocked/thrilled—much like the audience. And yes, the question "will we date the same guys" was asked, but Jesse clearly has literally no idea whatsoever how this season is going to go down so...tbd?
In response to the news, Rachel noted "I am so happy for her, I truly am. This is insane...we've been through this crazy experience forever." Meanwhile, Gabby added "I'm a girls girl through and through so having a friend by my side is the best thing I could ask for."
So what are Rachel and Gabby looking for in a man? Rachel says she wants "supportive and someone that loves me" (that would be ideal, considering the mess that was dating Clayton), and Gabby added that she is looking for an "emotionally intelligent mature" man "who can challenge me."
Sounds like ABC's casting department is up for a challenge. Can't wait! (Oh, and here's to hoping Gabby and Rachel *don't* have to be put in the position of competing with each other for the same men since their friendship has been so delightful.)
