Some cute news for your Tuesday morning: Game of Thrones' most popular extra Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn have welcomed their first child together! Ed hit up Instagram early in the morning to share a sweet photo of a blanket and a pair of tiny socks, confirming that Cherry had given birth to a healthy baby girl named Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
"A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you..." Ed wrote on Instagram. "Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x

According to Entertainment Tonight, Cherry's pregnancy was entirely secret—which makes sense considering how much she and Ed value their privacy. The couple got engaged in January 2018, news Ed went ahead and announced on Insta with the caption "Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx."
