Surprise B*tch: American Horror Story's Season 9 Teases Summer Camp Digs

Good new,s American Horror Story fans! Just when you thought you'd seen the last of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology, the season 9 trailer drops. The surprise teaser showed up on the director's social media early today before FX officially released the full-length clip just in time for the summer camp reveal at San Diego Comic Con.

The clip shows a band of beer drinking teens driving into the picturesque lakeside grounds of Camp Redwood, before dying at the hands of a Friday the 13th style murderer. Despite not featuring in the trailer, FX has confirmed the return of fan favorites, Emma Roberts, Matthew Morrison and Gus Kenworthy.

Fans have been theorizing the award-winning show's latest theme for months since the title American Horror Story: 1984 was revealed back in April. The epic crossover event Apocalypse tied in previous seasons beyond fan's imaginations leaving us wondering how 1984 would connect with a universe covering clowns, witches and haunted houses.
