Superman: Legacy Storyboards Shared by James Gunn

James Gunn is giving us an early look at Superman: Legacy.

Posting on Threads, the DC co-head shared a shot of hundreds of storyboards - visual representations of how a story will play out, scene by scene.

"Just a few storyboards I've drawn for Superman: Legacy," writes Gunn.

Only, you can’t see much. It’s an overhead shot of the storyboard stack rather than a reveal of what they contain. With Superman: Legacy releasing far off in the future of 11 July 2025, we won’t see an official image for a while.

Still, it’s nice to see the director himself getting involved in the storyboarding portion of pre-production. And judging from the hundreds of storyboards in Gunn’s post, he’s been at it for a while.

That’s pretty much the entire film laid out in storyboard form.

Here's when the Superman: Legacy Director commented on Lex Luthor for the first time.
