Famous toy collector Joel Magee has spent the better part of the last three decades building an impressive archive of over 6,000 Disney Park treasures. So impressive, in fact, that it's the world's largest individual-owned collection in the category, AP News reports.

"I'm one of those guys—go big or go home. And if you don't have the biggest, then it ain't the best," Magee told AP News.

Now, however, Magee is selling off 1,500 of his Disneyland collectables, including a Dumbo car from the popular ride and a $5,000 trash can (yes, really) that came from the park itself. The auction, which will be managed by Van Eaton Galleries, is set for July 17 to coincide with Disneyland's 68th birthday. Fans can also catch an early glimpse of the auction items at the Burbank Town Center Mall through July 16—or by scrolling through the auction book.

While certain collectables will start around $50, the gallery's co-owner Mike Van Eaton says that others could go for much, much higher.

"Some of these items, such as the Dumbo ride vehicle, may go for $200,000 to $300,000. We have trash cans from the park that may go for $5,000 or $6,000, and posters that could reach $50,000 to $60,000," he told AP News.

And while Magee himself says it's hard to choose favorites, he...well...does.

"The Tiki birds, oh my gosh, they were piles of junk when we got them! They were worn out, pieces were missing," Magee said of the collectables. "Some good friends of mine that do a lot of work … in that field brought them all back to life better than you could ever imagine. And … people look at that and you can just see the magic in their eyes when they see them."

Magee and Van Eaton agree, however, that it's the hitchhiking ghost animatronic display from the Haunted Mansion ride that is likely to go with the highest price. "It's going to be really crazy... But I do believe that those hitchhiking ghosts are going to be the wild ones. Will they hit a million dollars? We'll see," Magee told The Orlando Sentinel.
