New ‘Summer House’ star Sam Feher on OG drama, Kory Keefer relationship and more

There’s been a lot going on with the original cast members on this season of Summer House, but newbie Sam Feher has still managed to stand out.
The former assistant to the editor in chief of Cosmopolitan was one of three new additions to Season 7 of the Hamptons-set Bravo hit alongside Gabby Prescod and Chris Leoni. While Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke sorted through how to balance their friendship and working relationships and Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera‘s friendship became fractured, Sam was still able to strike up friendships with most of her housemates and show her personality.
In the newly released midseason trailer, Sam steps even more into the spotlight as she strikes up a romance with Winter House star Kory Keefer, who she’s now in a full-on relationship with.
For the latest episode of In The Know by Yahoo’s pop culture interview series We Should Talk, Sam opened up about what it was like joining the show amid so much drama with the returning cast members, how she was able to become friends with both Lindsay and Danielle despite their falling out, why her connection with Gabby was so strong and how she and Kory are doing now that their relationship is public.
“I keep wondering what the heck Lindsay ever did to everybody to make them all hate her so much. I’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like, ‘What do I not know about her that’s so bad, so evil?’ And I really haven’t had any personal, real-life experience with anything like that,” Sam told In The Know. “I will say, watching her and Danielle navigate this fight has been a little bit hard, because it’s bringing out things in their friendship that they’ve buried for a long time. That’s for them to deal with and to experience. Lindsay has done nothing but take care of me. She’s been such a big sister, and I can say that wholeheartedly about Danielle too. We all know you don’t see everything, but Danielle and I have a very close friendship.”
