When I’m airing, he’s filming. I am on ‘Southern Charm’ more now because I go down to Charleston to visit him.

“Carl and I have nothing but love and respect for one another and everyone’s gonna see that,” Cooke told Page Six. “I mean, obviously, it’s challenging working with your wife and your best friend, so it’s almost like I want to remind people that that in itself is not normal, and then you put it on TV, and it’s another level of crazy,”

In an interview with Maria Angelova, she talked about how her strategies for her public life. “My biggest strategy when I am sharing my life on TV and through social media is honesty. My biggest fear is for people to think perfection when they visit my social media platforms, since we tend to only share the good and positive aspects in our life.”

Carl Radke

Carl Radke is returning to Summer House Season 8. Season 7 captured his surprising engagement with Lindsay.

“As we got there, I told her, ‘We haven’t had time to have alone time this summer, and I wanted to do something special,’ ” Radke told People. “And I had the ring in a beach bag that she was carrying that I snuck in there. And she turned her back, and I figured, ‘This is my chance’ and I grabbed the ring, got down on one knee, and I turned her around and told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her, how happy I was, and that our love story was just beginning.”

Danielle Olivera

Danielle Olivera will be returning for Summer House Season 8. She explained her beef with her former BFF Lindsay Hubbard to Entertainment Tonight.

“Maybe most of our friendship was about me helping her and that’s why it went so well,” Danielle told the publication “because I was always there for her. Whatever she needed to talk about, I was always there. But now, she’s not really checking in. I’m building a business, she’s not really asking me questions about it. That’s when I started being like, OK, what is this?”

“She never had to go to bat for me, and I’ve never really stood up for myself with her, like, on what I need until now,” she explains, “and she didn’t even get it. She didn’t respond well, she didn’t even understand that it was a possibility that that could be the case, because she’s the word I use in the beginning, self-absorbed.”

Gabby Prescod

Gabby Prescod will return in Summer House Season 8. As one of the newest castmembers on the show, she reflected how she felt about her fellow cast to Entertainment Tonight.

“I had not watched Summer House prior to that, but a lot of my friends did, and they knew [my ex-boyfriend], obviously, so they were texting me, being like, ‘Hey… by the way, did you know that, like, your ex is on the show?’” she recalls. “By that time, in January, we had broken up. We were, like, four months broken up, and I was like, what are you talking about? So then, I went back and then I got crazy with it — because I love justice — so I would, like, line up the weekends that he was on the show and I was like, OK, so the weekend that I was away with my family on vacation is the weekend that you are like here on a date with Danielle? But like, I am on vacation, so I am not available. It just– it was so bizarre.”

Amanda Batula

Amanda Batula is returning for Summer House Season 8. She reminisced on starring on the show in a Glamour profile.

“I say I like the filming part and being able to be with your friends and have these memories. It’s a lot of fun,” she says. “I could do that forever…. It’s the social media and…the online bullying that makes it really difficult to want to keep doing this.”

She also expanded on her relationship with Hubbard. “Lindsay and I have always had our ups and downs. Our relationship has never been black-and-white, always been complex,” she says. “But even though we’ve had our history, there’s a level of respect for one another that goes deeper than any surface-level drama or any rumblings on the internet…. I think we’ll never have that best-friend relationship, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t get along when we are together.”

Samantha Feher

Samantha Feher will be returning to Summer House Season 8 as a part-time role. She posted an Instagram photo with the caption, ““Still giving main character.”

She looked back on her relationship dynamic with the cast to In The Know. “I keep wondering what the heck Lindsay ever did to everybody to make them all hate her so much. I’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like, ‘What do I not know about her that’s so bad, so evil?’ And I really haven’t had any personal, real-life experience with anything like that,” Sam told In The Know. “I will say, watching her and Danielle navigate this fight has been a little bit hard, because it’s bringing out things in their friendship that they’ve buried for a long time. That’s for them to deal with and to experience. Lindsay has done nothing but take care of me. She’s been such a big sister, and I can say that wholeheartedly about Danielle too. We all know you don’t see everything, but Danielle and I have a very close friendship.”

Chris Leoni

Chris Leoni is coming back to Summer House Season 8 as a part-time role. As the newest Bravolebrity added to the show, he clarified to Page Six that there’s more to him than what’s on screen.

“I really have been involved a lot,” he said. “I got into a couple of altercations — not physical altercations — but some arguments, I get it like that and not all of that’s going to make it.”

He added, “I swear that I’m not always 24/7 goofy, but I have a cheerful personality. I don’t take anything too serious coming from a very serious background.”

Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s wedding was supposed to be on November 17, 2023. They didn’t confirm their wedding guests before their breakup. However, it was expected that most of of the Summer House Season 8 cast would be invited. The main cast members for Summer House Season 8 included returning cast members Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batule, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera, and Gabby Prescod, as well as new cast members Jesse Solomon and West Wilson. The cast also included part-time cast members Sam Feher, Mya Allen, and Chris Leoni, as well as guests Kory Keefer and Andrea Denver.

In an interview on Watch What Happens Live in April 2023, Lindsay revealed that she wasn’t sure at the time if she wanted to invite Danielle—her former best friend whom she had a falling out with over Danielle’s concerns about Lindsay and Carl’s fast relationship—to her wedding. “I guess we’ll find out after the reunion,” she said. Lindsay also told host Andy Cohen that she was “hopeful” for a resolution between her and Danielle.

“As far as public[ly] mending our friendship, I think the challenge is that we haven’t really seen each other,” Lindsay said. “From what I’ve heard, she is working through some things in her personal life, and we’re planning a wedding, so I think that just, right now, we’re just on different paths.”

Danielle reacted to Lindsay’s hope for their relationship in her own interview with The Daily Dish. “I mean, it’s awesome to hear her say that, of course. But actions speak louder than words, especially in a public forum,” she said.

Danielle continued, “I’m going through a lot in my life right now, and it would be great to have her,” Danielle said. “But I think I’m going to leave it in her court, because I think I’ve done enough on my end. I’ve said what I needed to say. Time will tell, but I haven’t heard from her, so that, I think, says a lot.”

Mya Allen

Mya Allen is returning to Summer House Season 8 as a part-time role.

She revealed how she’s getting along with the cast after cameras wrapped on Watch What Happens Live! “Actually, we do get along pretty well this summer,” said Mya. “I do try to be fair and to hear her side of things and their side of things, which ends up being pretty much the height of almost every single conflict that we have this summer.”

“So I do reach out and try to extend an olive branch in that way,” she continued. “But I think we’re different people and we look at friendship differently. We look at relationships differently. And that’s kind of coming to light now. So I don’t know where we are.”
