Summer craft beer festival returning to Wrigleyville in June

CHICAGO — The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild (ICBG) and the Chicago Beer Society recently announced the return of a beloved summer craft beer festival in Wrigleyville.

Hosted at Gallagher Way outside of Wrigley Field, Chicago Friday Night Flights is making its return to the city’s North Side on Friday, June 7.

Organizers said they invite attendees to experience the city’s award-winning craft beer scene in the heart of Wrigleyville, with two tasting sessions and pours by 35-plus Chicago-area craft breweries. The outdoor event also features music by a live DJ and food for purchase from local eateries and food trucks. Tasting passes are on sale now and can be purchased for $30 in advance or $35 at the door.

“Chicago was recently named the No. 1 craft beer city in America,” said Ray Stout, executive director for the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild. “Our city is home to so many industry-leading, award-winning craft breweries, and Chicago Friday Night Flights is a perfect place to experience dozens of them in one place.

“We’re thrilled to help bring this event to Chicago for the eighth year, and to celebrate our breweries, our craft beer fans, and the impact of our industry on local communities across the city.”
