It needed a few alterations to fit her growing bump.

While she arrived on the Emmys red carpet solo (that'd be without her beau Robert Pattinson), Suki Waterhouse did have a very special plus-one: her baby bump. The actress and musician, whose show Daisy Jones and the Six is up for three awards at tonight's ceremony, wore a showstopping red Valentino gown that had everyone's favorite accessory: pockets.

The Valentino creation featured a square, apron-style bodice with open sides — and Waterhouse explained that while the dress had been in the works for months, a few changes needed to be made as her pregnancy entered the later stages. The gown also featured a huge bow, a drop waist, and an over-the-top floor-sweeping ballgown-style skirt.

"They had to redesign the dress to make it fit the bump," she told E!'s Laverne Cox on the red carpet. "I'm really glad they made it work."

While Pattinson was nowhere to be found today, Suki and her maybe-fiancé had a double date with Chris Evans and his wife, Alba Baptista. Page Six reports that the stars had dinner at Funke in Beverly Hills with fashion designer Georgina Chaman and Oscar-winning actor Adrian Brody. For the occasion, she wore a beige coat and everyone kept things low-key in casual 'fits like leather jackets (Evans), jeans and Adidas sneakers (Pattinson), and a decidedly more amped up leopard coat (Chapman).

Waterhouse's co-star, Camila Morrone is nominated for her role in Daisy Jones and Reese Witherspoon is also nominated for executive producing the Prime Video series. The show is also up for Outstanding Limited Or Anthology Series.
