Suki Waterhouse Makes Pajamas Look Impossibly Cool for a Night Out With Taylor Swift

Suki Waterhouse perfectly demonstrated how to wear pajamas outside the house this winter—and not just for your family’s annual holiday card photo shoot.

On December 6 the 31-year-old actor and singer—who is currently pregnant with her first child—was spotted in New York City with boyfriend Robert Pattinson. The pair made a rare public outing for a screening of Poor Things starring Emma Stone, and I’ll personally be replicating Waterhouse’s elevated take on the cozy movie-night uniform.

Bundled underneath a black shearling-lined leather jacket and luxurious scarf, Waterhouse went for a winter-white ensemble, complete with an ankle-length sheer white top layered under a cream cardigan and paired with white Dissh satin pants, which originally retailed for $110 but are currently on sale for $88. By topping off her look with a pair of white sneakers, Waterhouse added even more comfort to the equation without sacrificing her ’70s glam rock aesthetic.

Suki Waterhouse and Rob Pattinson weren’t alone on their date night. In other photos from the evening, Taylor Swift can be seen walking out of the screening with the famous couple in tow. Swift contrasted her friend’s ethereal white ensemble with a Reputation black maxidress, which she paired with a faux fur Penny Coat from Charlotte Simone and a gold zodiac clutch by Naeem Khan.

Swift actually gushed about the Daisy Jones & the Six actor earlier year. “Suki has always seemed like she stepped out of a time machine. Her music is so raw and hopelessly romantic because that’s how she moves through the world,” Swift told Ssense in August. “When we hang out, I often come away wondering how someone can be simultaneously spontaneous and free—and also preternaturally wise. She is the wildest person I know who I would also trust to keep any secret. You’ll be stressed about something trivial, she’ll just look at you, cigarette in hand, and say, ‘Babe, you know none of this actually matters.’ And she’ll be exactly right.”

It’s only fitting that Waterhouse casually revealed her pregnancy in the middle of a performance while dressed in a sparkling pink minidress and dramatic fuzzy coat. “I thought I’d wear something sparkly to distract you from something else I’ve got going on,” she joked with the crowd while gesturing towards her baby bump, per one video shared on November 19. “I’m not sure it’s working.”

All this to say, we’ve clearly got another pregnancy style icon on our hands. Is anyone surprised?
