Suki Waterhouse is proudly claiming and embracing the indie sleaze revival for the "Daisy Jones and the Six" press tour.

For a photo opp at the top of the Empire State Building in New York City this week, the actor and musician stood out amongst her fellow cast members with a look befitting an actual rockstar (which she is!): Wearing what can be described as essentially high-waisted denim underwear and Calzedonia tights (with a run in them, no less), Waterhouse and stylist Rob Zangardi are taking notes not just from the project she's promoting, but from the 2014 Tumblr era we've all been itching to see return.

The look comes straight off the Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Fall 2022 runway, where a single-breasted black suit jacket covered a cream-colored silk button-up blouse tucked into the pants teetering between extremely short Daisy Dukes or simple briefs.

The crystal bralette seen on the runway barely got any showtime on Waterhouse, due to the massively fluffy and furry coat the actor layered atop, reminiscent of the ever-resonant stylish rockstar (and indie sleaze mood board staple) Courtney Love.

With her signature tussled hair and a barely smoked-out eye makeup, it's hard for Waterhouse to not have the effortlessly-cool vibe of a rockstar fresh off the stage. (In addition to being a performing artist herself, she's also childhood BFFs with Georgia May Jagger, which adds to her bona fides.)

Like the original runway look, Waterhouse embraced the rosettes trend with a crystal choker featuring an oversized 3D floral motif attached at the side, all to match her ruby-red lipstick and burgundy nails.
