The Suits Series Finale Made a Hilarious Reference to Prince Harry

Prince Harry may be royalty, but that doesn't mean he's immune from some lighthearted ribbing!

During the series finale of Suits, the long-running legal drama that previously found Meghan Markle in a starring role as Rachel Zane had a fun reference to Harry himself. Meghan ended up leaving the show after marrying into the royal family, but ever since she left the show, that's meant the series has been given full license to poke fun at its form star and her husband.

The series finale dropped the joke while approaching the marriage of lawyer Louis Litt (Rick Edward Hoffman) and love interest Sheila Sazs (Rachael Harris), and mainstay Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) inquires about Louis' outfit.

“Wait a second. Are you wearing a morning coat?” Harvey asks.

“Of course I’m wearing a morning coat. Frankly, I’m disappointed you’re not," Louis fires back. Then comes the joke, as Harvey lobs back a zinger.

"Louis, you’re not the prince of England." Cue the laughter! It was a fun, lighthearted reference to Harry, which likely put a joke on the prince's face, if he's heard it by now.

Recently, Suits creator Aaron Korsh revealed he had decided against asking Meghan back to the show for a possible cameo out of "respect for her new life."

"I just thought, I’m going to respect her new life and not put her in the position of having to ask. We decided not to put her in that position, so I never asked," Korsh told Deadline.

Luckily, Suits found a great way to work references to the royal couple into the finale, so it was a win-win for everyone. Meghan instead had a nice montage dedicated to her, and a few episodes ago, there was a fun comment made in reference to Meghan's becoming a duchess.
