Is Mike Ross heading back to the Suits universe? If Patrick J. Adams had his way, absolutely.

After the USA Network gained a new following after it dropped on Netflix this past summer, news broke that a reboot was in the works, and that this time, it would be set in Los Angeles. When the original Suits cast (which included Patrick, Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres) reunited at the 2024 Golden Globes on January 7, Patrick spoke to Entertainment Tonight about reprising his role in the newest show in the franchise. While he's not working on the project currently, he revealed that should the higher ups want him to be a part of it, he'd jump at the chance.

"I would jump in there. I'll do whatever they want," he shared. "Whatever the fans want, I'm there. I love this role. I love the world. I love everybody involved."

As fans may remember, Patrick portrayed Mike as a main player for seven out of the show's nine-season run. The last viewers saw him, he had a recurring role in season 9 after marrying Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) in season 7. And though it's seemingly clear the new series won't pick up where the original series left off, Patrick had some ideas as to where the couple currently stand today.

"I think they're in Seattle still, you know, saving the world and doing their thing," he added about Mike and Rachel's potential whereabouts. "[They'd be] wearing a lot of raincoats. I think they're doing well, and they're happy out there. That would be my take."

Right now, according to Beatrice Springborn, president of Universal International Studios and UCP, the show is currently in the early stages with Suits creator Aaron Korsh writing the series.

"We are working on it right now," she said during a speaking engagement back in December, per Variety. "It’s so fun and happy."

Well, we'll be keeping our fingers crossed for a potential Mike cameo!
