What was once most rock-solid relationship of the season is over!

Paradise lost!

One of the season’s most solid couples, Michael and Sierra, split up during Monday night’s Bachelor in Paradise.

The 4th episode of ABC’s hit reality show began in the aftermath of another shocking breakup—Teddi had dumped Andrew and left the show last week.

Rodney, a new arrival, had wanted to ask Teddi out on a date and was stunned that she’d self-eliminated.

But most of the remaining gals at the Mexican resort were eager to get to know Rodney, and Lace kissed him on the beach.

Why did Michael break up with Sierra on Bachelor in Paradise?

During the first few BIP episodes, Michael, a widower with a son, and sexy Sierra seemed like the perfect couple.

Sierra told the other women she’d make a “bomb ass stepmom,” and told Michael how great it was that they weren’t looking at “other options” for love.

However, Michael confided to bartender Wells that things were moving too fast for him!

“We bonded pretty quick. But it also scares me,” Michael said in confessional.

Later, Michael said he was still dealing with grief over his wife’s death, and didn’t respond well to Sierra wanting to cuddle and gaze at the stars.

Michael told her, “There’s something missing with us.”

Then, in the kiss of death, he told Sierra they should just “be friends. I think that’s what I need.”

Michael got emotional and wiped his tears away.

Why did Sierra leave Bachelor in Paradise?

After getting dumped, Sierra decided she wanted to self-eliminate and just go home, telling her beach pals she wasn’t interested in dating anyone else or witnessing Michael do so.

Michael hugged her goodbye as she packed her bags for home.

Sierra’s abrupt departure worried the remaining guys who now outnumbered the women.

Michael and Sierra's breakup was the tip of the iceberg on tonight's Bachelor in Paradise. Read on to see how Genevieve dumped Justin, who got a date card and how it went and more.

How did Genevieve dump Justin?

After having a great date with Aaron, Genevieve had a serious talk with her first BIP flame, Justin.

She told Justin he didn’t make her feel special like Aaron, who was more into physical affection.

Genevieve gave Justin a hug and kiss for his birthday, as Aaron unhappily looked on from a distance. “I want to curl over and die,” Aaron said.

Genevieve soon decided to apologize to Aaron and he admitted feeling hurt over her smooching Justin.

She cried and they had a makeout session and Genevieve realized, “Aaron is all in.”

The next day, Aaron was demonstrative with Genevieve right under Justin’s nose.

After another frustrating chat with Genevieve, Justin declared to the cameras, “It’s over. It’s done.”

She confirmed to Aaron that she’d split from Justin.

How did Shanae confront Logan?

Logan was upset about Shanae’s date with James in the previous episode, but she wasn’t happy with his “zero effort.”

Shanae told Logan, “I like you….I don’t know if you’re giving me that in return.”

As Logan was noncommittal, Shanae stormed away.

Logan sighed to the cameras that he knew Shanae wanted him to pursue her more aggressively.
