From Town & Country

Our column "The Best Room At" offers a glimpse inside some of the most charming, luxurious, and iconic properties around the world.

With fabulous shopping, fresh Mediterranean cuisine, and bustling beach clubs, Mykonos has become a go-to destination for hip jetsetters in search of the ultimate European holiday.

And though the island is relatively small-it spans just 33 square miles and has a population of 10,000-you'll find dozens of stunning villas and hotels, which makes choosing where to stay decidedly complicated.

Grace Mykonos is one of the standouts, thanks to its prime location just above Agios Stefanos beach and its close proximity to town. But beyond the hotel's geographic selling points, Grace also promises guests a quiet respite from the otherwise buzzy island-there's a sense of calm that immediately hits you from the moment you step foot on property.

Below, the hotel's general manager Yiorgos Peroutseas takes us inside Grace Mykonos' best suite.

Describe the hotel in a sentence.

Grace Mykonos is a relaxing boutique hotel, located just above the sandy beach of Agios Stefanos – a place to escape from reality!

Which room is the best?

What’s the average nightly rate?

€465.

Who is your typical guest?

The hotel is popular with couples, especially those who like an intimate and serene environment, whilst being only a short distance from the buzz of the famous Mykonos nightlife.

What’s one local recommendation you always give first-time visitors?

A trip to Mykonos town (‘Chora’) is certainly recommended for first time visitors. 180° Sunset Bar is a beautiful spot for cocktails with a view. Or you can just while away the time wandering the pretty streets of Little Venice.

Can you share an interesting tidbit about the hotel's history?

Grace Mykonos is located near the historic ‘Armenistis’ lighthouse, built in 1891. At sunset, the surrounding area, with its rugged and wild beauty, makes for a romantic picnic spot (an excursion which we offer as a ‘Bespoke by Grace’ Experience). Anyone looking for a special place to propose would be smart to consider this!
