Jennifer Nettles, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Jennifer Nettles is joining the dozens of celebrities who have weighed in on Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce.

The Sugarland singer, who has worked with Swift in the past, has a strong opinion on the couple. In a recent interview with People, Nettles described the “Blank Space” singer as “a lovely human being” whom Nettles wants “to find love just like everybody else.”

When it comes to Swift’s whirlwind romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Nettles, 49, appears to be all in.

“I want the best for them,” she told the magazine.

The county music star and her Sugarland bandmate, Kristian Bush, once worked with Swift to record “Babe,” a song Sugarland released in 2018. Swift, 34, cowrote the song with Train vocalist Pat Monahan, according to Billboard, and is credited on the track. Swift later released her own version of the track as “Babe (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)” when she released her rerecorded version of her Red album in 2021.

Nettles is around romantic pairings a lot these days as the host of Farmer Wants a Wife, which began airing its second season earlier this month. Nettles, who began hosting the reality TV series last year, recently told Parade that she doesn’t like most dating shows but finds Farmer Wants a Wife to be “relatable” and “authentic.”

Having a fellow celebrity weigh in on their romance isn’t new for Swift and Kelce, 34. The couple has received a significant amount of attention since Swift began attending Chiefs games last fall. Though some football fans have grown tired of watching NFL broadcasts pan over to her for reaction shots during televised games, many within the sport have credited her with exposing new audiences to the game.

With the NFL season now wrapping up, Swift has one game left to attend: Super Bowl LVIII. The Chiefs will be playing the San Francisco 49ers for the Lombardi Trophy, and Swift is expected to be there in person to root for her beau.
