Take a look at your local Subway menu and you'll see that big changes are happening. The fast food restaurant is introducing a whole new way to order your favorite sammies, and they're doing so with an offer you can't refuse.

This week, the chain announced their new Subway Series, a lineup of 12 signature sandwiches that can be conveniently ordered by name or number. And to celebrate the occasion, Subway will be offering up one million free, 6-inch Subway Series subs to customers across the country. The giveaway will be on July 12 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. local time at participating Subway locations.

The Subway Series, which has been in the works for well over a year, will include four categories: Cheesesteaks, Italianos, Chicken, and Clubs. Among the standouts are #3 The Monster and #8 The Great Garlic. The Monster comes loaded with juicy steak, crisp bacon, Monterey cheddar, crisp green peppers, and red onions. And The Great Garlic boasts a special new ingredient: creamy garlic sauce.

The new Subway Series serves as a follow-up to the restaurant's Eat Fresh Refresh campaign, which also included a menu update.

"Last summer's Eat Fresh Refresh laid the foundation to build a better Subway, and now the Subway Series enhances the entire Subway guest experience – proof that we continue to improve and get way better," said Trevor Haynes, President, North America at Subway, in a statement.

So mark your calendars for July 12 and go snag your freebie.
