Ready or not, the holidays are officially upon us—and the festive home collections are here to prove it. Among them is Target's newly launched Studio McGee and Threshold collaboration. Featuring over 40 items, from mantle decor to framed wall art, it focuses on channeling the warmth and timelessness of the season—with a modern touch.

Some of the most beloved Threshold designs at Target come from its partnership with Studio McGee, an interior design company known for its mission to “Make Life Beautiful” and create designs that are accessible and aesthetically pleasing.

Shea McGee, who co-founded Studio McGee with her husband Syd, said in a statement that this collection was designed “to embrace what's new while connecting with the nostalgic to celebrate what makes this season so special." The natural color scheme, made up of creams, camel tones, and deep, muted greens, feels fresh and on-trend, while soft fabrics and minimalist patterns keep it classic.

Shea McGee's 2023 Holiday Collection Top Picks

If you don't know where to start (it's hard to pick just a couple pieces), McGee's here to guide you. She shared some of her must-have items from the collection, and obviously blankets are at the top of the list: the Knit Tree with Tassels Throw Blanket and the Faux Fur Plush Reverse Throw Blanket to keep you warm all season long. Add to the "home for the holidays" energy with the 25-ounce Ceramic Bay & Winter Berry Candle.

To brighten up your Christmas tree, McGee picked the Botanical Christmas Tree Topper with Clip to tie everything together, the Tiered Glass Tree Ornament, and the set of 11 Velvet Christmas Ornaments to add some texture to your branches. For the bottom of your tree, she went with both the Tassel Christmas Tree Skirt and the Scallop Tree Skirt. To create a cohesive theme, you can get a Scallop Christmas Stocking, too.

If you want to get the Christmas tree effect in your decor without the giant tree itself, she suggested going with the Matte Ceramic Christmas Tree Figure, which comes in small, medium, and large sizes, for your mantel or side table.

For your holiday table, McGee loves the Stoneware Serving Platter to add a touch of understated elegance (aka quiet luxury). Pair it with the 60-inch by 84-inch Tablecloth in ‘Elegant Vine,’ which features a print of red berries and flowers.

You can shop Studio McGee’s Threshold holiday collection at target.com now and in stores starting October 15.
