Striking New Photo Shows King Charles Facing Away from Camera with Queen Camilla by His Side

Calling all royal aficionados! Another gorgeous photo has been released featuring King Charles amid his cancer treatment.

Over the weekend, His Majesty, 75, and his wife, Queen Camilla, attended Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel. During the appearance, royal photographer Chris Jackson snapped a black-and-white photo of the royal couple walking into the church.

In the photo, King Charles and Queen Camilla are facing away from the camera. But their body language speaks volumes, especially since they're angled toward each other in a non-verbal show of support.

The brand-new photo came just a few days after the royal family unveiled a portrait of King Charles. At the time, His Majesty had debuted a recorded message that was played during the 2024 Royal Maundy Service. Although the recording was audio only, the royal family dropped a portrait of King Charles that was taken during the speech.

It showed the king sitting alone at his desk in Buckingham Palace’s 18th Century Room, with a microphone and a recorder placed in front of him. King Charles was wearing a navy-blue pinstripe suit, along with a white shirt, a blue tie and a coordinating pocket square.

In the voice recording, he said, “The Maundy Service has a very special place in my heart. We need and benefit greatly from those who extend the hand of friendship to us, especially in a time of need.”

Fingers crossed King Charles’s public appearances become more frequent.
