Street Fighter 6’s Spy x Family Collab Is Finally Here

About a month ago, Capcom announced that Street Fighter 6 was getting a crossover with Spy x Family, with an anime teaser trailer showing Yor Forger fighting against Chun-Li. It was a fantastic trailer, but it was only the first half of the collaboration. Now, the second half of the collaboration is here, and it actually puts Spy x Family stuff into the game.

Street Fighter 6 added a host of new items to the game today, all based on the upcoming film Spy x Family Code: White. The collaboration will last from January 9, 2024 to January 31, 2024, just a little over three weeks. Spy x Family Code: White was released in Japanese theaters a few weeks ago, and although a Western release has been confirmed, a date has yet to be announced.

The Street Fighter 6 collab with Spy x Family includes avatar costumes for both Yor and Loid, both of which are available at the collaboration shop in the battle hub in-game. These are paid, of course, and are likely to be a little bit pricey, but Capcom knows its market and there will certainly be plenty of players who buy in.

Capcom has also provided avatar recipe codes for both Yor and Loid Forger, so you can make your avatar a near perfect match for the characters. Both of those codes and what they look like are available in the screenshots below, though you’ll need the relevant costumes to make them work.

For those who don’t want to cough up the cash, you can still join in on the Spy x Family fun — Capcom is giving away photo frames, stickers, player titles, and more, most of which seem to be focused on Anya, which is delightful. Sadly, none of them shown off by Capcom have Bond in them, but hey, maybe there are some we haven’t seen yet.
