Summer is in full swing, and there's a whole slate of fresh, fun summer movies and series to binge-watch.

Netflix kicks off the month of July by releasing the final two episodes of the highly popular "Stranger Things 4: Volume 2," while Jane Austen fans will get to watch the newest take on the classic "Persuasion," starring Dakota Johnson and Henry Golding. The streamer also has another exciting film in its slate, "The Gray Man," starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas.

For action fans, "The Terminal List," based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr will be debuting on Prime Video and stars Chris Pratt.

If you're in the mood for something more thought-provoking, the award-winning Canadian film "Scarborough" is also hitting screens this month and will certainly be worth watching.

Week of July 1

Season 4: Volume 2 of the smash hit "Stranger Things" includes two supersized episodes that clock in at 1 hour 20 minutes, and 2 hours 20 minutes long. Volume 2 will deal with Vecna and set the tone for the show’s upcoming fifth and final season. Streams July 1 on Netflix.

Based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr, "The Terminal List" follows Navy SEAL James Reece (Chris Pratt) after his entire platoon is ambushed during a high-stakes mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves. Streams July 1 on Amazon Prime VIdeo.

James Bond: No Time to Die

Starring Daniel Craig in his fifth and final portrayal of MI6 agent James Bond, the film follows Bond as he enjoys a tranquil life in Jamaica after leaving active service. However, his peace is short-lived as an old CIA friend shows up and asks for help. Streams July 1 on Crave.

Winner of eight Canadian Screen Awards and an official selection of the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival, this Canadian film is adapted from the critically acclaimed novel by Catherine Hernandez. It is an unflinching portrait of three, low-income families struggling to endure within a system that has set them up for failure. Streams July 1 on Crave.

Week of July 4

Boo, Bitch

Two high school seniors make a last-ditch attempt to be seen, but when one of them becomes a ghost, she'll need to make some big changes to really live her best life. The series stars Lana Condor and Zoe Margaret Colletti. Streams July 8 on Netflix.

More than two decades after the events of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," Sarah Connor sets out to protect a young woman named Dani Ramos and her friends while a liquid metal Terminator sent from the future attempts to terminate them. Streams July 10 on Paramount+

Week of July 11

The Gray Man

Week of July 25

Surface
