If the GRAMMYs are music's biggest night, then the MTV VMA's can definitely claim the throne for music's wildest night. The show never has a shortage of headline-making moments. Even to this day people still talk about Miley's on-stage twerking session at the 2013 VMA's and that Kanye/Taylor Swift from a whole decade ago. Word is this year's show will also have some special surprises. Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes will be taking the stage to perform "Señorita" and all eyes will be on them following all these romance rumors. The show is also bringing on a comedian as a host, so you know they'll be some celebrity jabs in that opening monologue. The comedian, Sebastian Maniscalco, has been in movies like The House and Nut Job 2.

Taylor Swift is also taking the stage to perform of her new hits, I'm assuming, you can sing in Spanish to performances by Bad Bunny and J. Balvin and you might be able to single along to "Old Town Road" because Lil Nas X is also taking the stage.

So how can you watch the 2019 VMAs? Well the show will be broadcast live on MTV, MTV2, VH1, BET and Comedy Central, but you'll need cable to watch on those channels.

The good news is that if you can snag someone's login info, you can stream the awards live online on places like DirecTV Now and MTV's website. The show will also be streamed on Philo, so if you don't already have the service, you can opt for the 7-day free trial.

Whatever you choose to do, figure it out now! The pre-show takes place on August 26 at 7 p.m., yes as in tonight, and it's main show kicks off at 8 p.m.
