Stray Kitten Who Interrupted Couple’s Wedding Finds Forever Home With Them
For every couple, a wedding day is so much more than a dinner party with some speeches. It's an occasion to celebrate yourselves as individuals and as a couple, though many family-oriented brides and grooms enjoy celebrating the people who made them who they are, too. And the best part is that it's not only people who are honored at weddings!
Dogs and cats are parts of so many families, too, and it's becoming more and more common to include pets in wedding celebrations. For one cat-loving couple, though, it was a total surprise when a stray kitten stole the show in the middle of their vows. Cara and Matt may be newlyweds, but they're also now cat parents to the very same feline who crashed their wedding. It's the purrfect Happily Ever After!
What a sweet story! I can only imagine what was going through Cara's head when her guests started to giggle, but pointing out the cat made the moment go from deplorable to adorable. It got even better when the newlyweds learned that the venue caught the stray kitten, especially because they're such cat lovers.

As the bride explained, their names combined even spell out 'Catt!' And guess what else? Their cake toppers were tiny statues of the bride and groom as cats! They also had a black and white kitty already at home, so Gatsby was there to introduce himself when the gray tabby cat, whom they named Daisy, came home.
As a bride-to-be myself, I can genuinely say that an animal interruption would be like a dream come true. In my case, though, I'm convinced it's going to be my Siberian Husky, who's just as dramatic as he is loud, who decides he has something to say in the middle of the ceremony.
The Cat Distribution System Works in Mysterious Ways
The majority of comments on @gatsby.and.daisy's video mentioned the 'cat distribution system' which, thanks to social media, has become a well-known concept in recent months. The universal cat distribution system is the mysterious force that brings cats and cat owners together when they need each other the most. These meetings are always out of the blue, but they aren't always as poetic and serendipitous as this story.
One commenter, @breezylanier, reasoned that "she was a wedding gift from the cat distribution system," and I think that's completely correct! A wedding venue is an incredibly random place for a stray cat to be, and the fact that she made herself known during the couple's wedding vows can't be a mere coincidence. Little did everyone know that she was saying, "I do," too!
