Stray Dog Rescued Outside McDonald's in Arizona Given the Most Fitting Name
It’s never easy to see a dog struggling—and that’s just what one Arizona woman found while visiting her local McDonald’s. Outside the restaurant, she saw a male dog starving and looking for help.
When all others ignored him, she took him in. It was such a sad sight seeing a dog struggling to survive like this, and she knew deep down that he wasn’t someone’s pet. He was a street dog.
When she took him to the vet to see if he had a microchip, they realized that he didn’t have one. No one was out looking for this dog; he was meant to be taken in and taken care of.

He had a few tick bites and needed his vaccinations, but other than that, he was of good health. For now, he is going with a foster family with hopes that he will be adopted soon.
Since the stray dog was found outside of a McDonald’s, the woman named him McNugget. It’s such a fitting name for an adorable dog who is petite and slender. He is the perfect size dog and seems to love people.
There’s no telling how long McNugget is going to be in foster care before he finds his forever home, but hopefully it won’t be too long. He’s going to appreciate the time there to decompress, and will hopefully be able to meet potential adopters sooner than later.
McNugget is such an adorable dog and anyone would be lucky to have him. It’s hard to believe that someone just abandoned him, but now, he will never know what it’s like to have that happen ever again.
McNugget can’t get enough of his rescue mom, but for now he’s going on to his foster home to make more friends and memories. He will be neutered and then available for adoption soon after.
