Anyone too high-brow for Jell-O shots needs to stop. A Jell-O salad, maybe. Hey, as someone who grew up with a mom who insisted she make a cranberry one for the holidays, I'm allowed to say that! But hello, I went to college. I acknowledge the power of the Jell-O shot. Now that I'm a real adult (30 and flirty!), I might no longer make green and yellow shots in my university's colors, but I find ways to class them up just fine.

Case in point: These Strawberry Champagne Jell-O Shots, which are classy enough for the biggest Jell-O naysayers (myself included). They're SO easy to make: In a saucepan over medium heat, you stir together water, sugar, and gelatin until dissolved (you can totally use flavored Jell-O here, but the clear gelatin look is what makes the strawberries so pretty). Then you stir in bubbly (don't use anything too fancy here - do I need to explain why?!) and Sprite (one reason why).

This is an important step: You want to refrigerate the gelatin mixture until slightly jiggly and gelatinous, about a half hour, so that when you stir in the strawberries they don't instantly sink to the bottom. When the mixture has slightly set up, they'll float. Use a small ice cream scoop or spoon to get the mixture into a mini muffin tin and refrigerate until totally firm. Then start blasting LMFAO and get your shots on.
