Strasburg, VA, Is Gearing Up To Break Ground on a New Skatepark
On Monday, November 6th, 2023 the Strasburg Town Council members finalized plans to begin the next stages of building a new community skatepark. They will begin opening up site plans to allow contractors to bid on the new park. Once a bid is accepted by the Strasburg Park and Rec department they can move forward with construction.

After a bid is accepted the city says that they hope to start construction in early 2024. The community is a huge contributor in the process of getting the park built, in fact, the community alone raised more than $145,000 to go towards the construction and has offered to help prep the site for building.
