“Stranger Things” Season 4 Adds New Cast Including “Anne With an E” Star

A bunch of new faces are heading to Hawkins, Indiana. Stranger Things season 4 is currently in production, and a handful of fresh faces have joined the cast.
As noted by Cinema Blend, Will, Eleven, Lucas, Mike, and their friends and family will be joined by four new characters who will undoubtedly find themselves mixed up in the supernatural.
It seems that most of the new characters will likely interact with our teenage protagonists. Anne with an E star AmyBeth McNulty will play a character named Vickie, described as "a cool, fast-talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of our beloved heroes." Grace Van Dien is set to play Chrissy, who is described as "Hawkins’ High lead cheerleader and the most popular girl in school. But beneath the seemingly perfect surface lies a dark secret." Myles Truitt is playing Patrick, "a Hawkins basketball star who has friends, talent, and a good life...until shocking events send his life spiraling out of control." And finally, we'll see Regina Ting Chen as Ms. Kelly, "a popular guidance counselor who cares deeply for her students—especially those struggling the most."
The four actors aren't the only new faces we'll see in season 4, and it looks like things are going to get scary. Horror legend Robert England, AKA Freddy Krueger, is set to appear, playing a character named Victor Creel. Victor is described as "a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s." We'll also see Game of Thrones alum Tom Wlaschiha, plus Maya Hawke's brother Levon.
While there's no premiere date set for season 4, Netflix did release a very creepy and bloody teaser to whet our appetites for the next batch of episodes. What will happen to the kids of Hawkins — and the new characters, who probably have no idea what they're getting themselves into — this time around?
