Story of Bird 'Adopting' Baby Brother and Becoming His Best Friend Is So Moving
Our hearts can't take it!
The bond that can develop between two animals is so heartwarming, and the connection formed between these two beautiful parrotlets is just too sweet. Adopted during the pandemic, the owners knew their parrotlet Wolfie would be lonely once their lives got busier again. They knew that their bird would thrive with a companion, and decided to adopt another parrotlet to act as baby brother for their beloved pet.

Wolfie and Sharky are just too adorable for words. TikTok viewers are absolutely loving the bond between these two and @Gobs says, "The way Wolfie keeps bringing him toys! We don't deserve animals." Another user comments, "I’m convinced animals are the higher souls, here on earth to teach us." @Sgkastatter sadly replies, "Was not prepared to bawl my eyes out. We just lost our girl pacific blue so when Wolfie’s sweet face popped up that was it! They are precious." @Erika sweetly adds, "i just watched this at my desk at work - i just burst into tears. I have to lead a meeting in 10 minutes and I’m balling!" Awwww!
It's so wonderful these owners decided to adopt another bird to keep their Covid baby company. In the wild, parrotlets are often found in flocks and they can form strong bonds with their flock mates. They are very social birds that thrive on interaction, so it's too sweet Wolfie now has Sharky to keep him company!
