Stormi Webster Sang Kylie Jenner's “Rise and Shine”
Kylie Jenner’s “Rise and Shine” is truly the gift that keeps on giving. What began as a simple tune that the reality-TV star sang to her daughter, Stormi, during a tour of Kylie Cosmetics headquarters eventually turned into one of 2019’s best memes, with a melody so sweet that even Ariana Grande wants to sample it in one of her songs. Lizzo performed it live and in concert! Justin Bieber loves it too! It seems as though no one can get enough of the three-word song.
It should come as no surprise, then, that the “Rise and Shine” moment has officially come full circle, with Stormi singing it herself.
In an Instagram post on February 8, Kylie showed her two-year-old daughter playing with a toy microphone. At first, Stormi just says “hello,” “hello,” “hello,” into the mic, but eventually Kylie prompts her to sing her now-infamous tune. Happily, Stormi obliges and sings her very own rendition of “Rise and Shine,” which is easily one of the cutest things we’ve ever seen.
And we’re totally not alone. Proud grandma Kris Jenner commented on Kylie’s video, writing: “OMG she is so adorable,” while BFF Stassie Karanikolaou added a ton of heart-eye emojis. Sofia Richie declared that she “can’t handle it,” and Stormi’s sweet voice apparently makes Winnie Harlow “want a baby.” Kylie’s fans were just as wowed by the clip; it’s already racked up more than 16 million views.
It sure seems as though Stormi is turning out to be Kylie’s mini-me; between the adorable matching moments and the toddler’s very first Kylie Cosmetics collection, they are clearly two peas in a pod. Here’s hoping we get to hear more of Stormi’s adorable singing voice on Kylie’s IG in the future!
