It's been quite the year for 18-year-old actress Storm Reid — from starring in The Suicide Squad to getting accepted into her dream college, she has so much to be excited for. Along with attending football games and reeling in the freshman experience at the University of Southern California, Storm has another milestone ahead of her: the 2021 Met Gala. She recently got invited to the coveted event and took her wholesome reaction to Instagram.

In the reel, she's talking on the phone with the bearer of good news. "Yes, I'm going to call you back. I'm going to tell Pedro," she nods with a smile beaming from ear to ear. When the person recording asks what happened during the call, she responds, "I just got a Met invitation" before she cheers with excitement. She then took a few steps back to yell "LET'S GOOO!" in the middle of an empty parking lot. Honestly, I couldn't think of a better place to celebrate the win.

While Storm just snagged an invite to the biggest night in fashion, her on-screen sister, Zendaya, will not be attending this year. Although she's always one to watch on the famous Met steps, duty calls. It turns out she's missing the event because she'll be on set for season 2 of Euphoria.

"My fans are very upset with me. I will unfortunately not be able to attend because I'll be working for Euphoria," Zendaya told Extra.

At least one of the Bennett sisters will slay the Met steps in New York on Monday, September 13. I, for one, can't wait to see what look Storm wears for "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion."
