Stop What You're Doing: Lifetime Just Released Its Christmas Movie Lineup for 2023
Once fall arrives, you can basically count on Christmas to be right around the corner. Don't believe us? Then take a look at Lifetime's Christmas movie lineup which has just been released for 2023! Annually known as "It's a Wonderful Lifetime"—the network uses this programming to give us some of the most endearing, sometimes wholesome, sometimes mysterious Christmas movies of all time! Such is the case this year, with a round-up full of holiday-themed Lifetime movies that will take up most of our Christmas activity list.
The 13 movies on this list are full of that small Christmas town magic we all love to see, while also containing movies that surround more thrilling plots. (Just wait 'til you read what Silent Night, Fatal Night is about!) You'll also see some familiar names and faces in this list of movies, like Tia Mowry, Matthew Pohlkamp, and Jackée Harry, who have starred in many of our favorite films and TV shows. Stars: Emily Alatalo, Corey Sevier, Vanessa Smythe, and Andrew Bushell
Plot: Two sisters make a pact that they'll both find their soulmate the following Christmas, no questions asked! One of them has kept their end of the deal. The other thinks she may have found the perfect guy, but just can't remember his number. So, a mission between her and friends to find the unknown Prince Charming ensues!
Planes, Trains, and Christmas Trees
Premieres: Sunday, November 19 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Kathryn Davis and Olivier Renaud
Plot: Two working professionals are both on the same business trip to Indiana when an unexpected snow storm hits. Already annoyed, it doesn't help that they won't be able to make it home for Christmas. It just so happens that the small town they're "stuck" in just may be what they need to lift their holiday spirits up.
Christmas at the Chalet
Premieres: Saturday, November 25 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Teri Hatcher and William DeVry
Plot: Lex is a social media guru who is taking a trip up to a luxury ski resort for the holidays with her son. There's only one problem (actually, two): Her ex-husband and his new girlfriend will also be there. Not wanting to experience much of this awkward scenario, she takes a job up at a chalet with the hopes to not be seen by them.
Laughing All the Way
Premieres: Saturday, November 25 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Paniz Zade and Jake Epstein
Plot: Aubri is a talented ghostwriter who secretly has a passion for stand up comedy. She's assigned the role of planning this year's Christmas variety show in her town, which freaks her out to no end. Frantically searching for the right headliner, she faces a random spree of luck when Mike, a now widely known comedian, decides to return to Aubri's hometown that same year—which is where everything started for him in the first place.
Ladies of the ‘80s: A Divas Christmas
Premieres: Saturday, December 2 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Loni Anderson, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Gray, Donna Mills and Nicollette Sheridan
Plot: Back in the '80s, a group of five women were all over every tabloid due to their acclaimed soap opera of the time. Fast forward some decades later, they decide to reunite for what's meant to be a final Christmas episode. Though, this proves to be something harder than imagined. Once a diva, always a diva!
Mistletoe Match
Premieres: Sunday, December 3 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Elena Juatco and Ryan Bruc
Plot: A writer for a gossip magazine is told to cover a Secret Santa for Singles event in her area. Clearly skeptical, she initially goes into it with the idea that she would write this piece as more of a debunk than anything. That's because she never expected to meet a charming, handsome single dad—let alone fall in love with him.
Silent Night, Fatal Night
Premieres: Sunday, December 3 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Alex Camacho and Matthew Pohlkamp
Plot: A very successful writer in the mystery-genre world decides to suddenly end her career when some personal things come up. Her manager doesn't like this idea at all. In fact, he hates it so much that he decides to kidnap her, trapping her in his home as he makes her write a new novel after he already reported to the world that she is dead. Oh, and it takes place around Christmas. Ha.
A Cowboy Christmas Romance
Premieres: Saturday, December 9 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Jana Kramer, Adam Senn, Mary-Margaret Humes, Cassie Randolph, Curt Mega, Bruce Thomas, Lisa Lee and Max Ehrich
Plot: Lexie doesn't want to return back to her hometown in Arizona, but it's what she has to do when a huge business deal requires her to convince some ranchers (one of whom is particularly handsome) to give up their land. On the other hand, she must also face her dad and brothers that still remain in Arizona, who are shocked to see her return.
Yes, Chef! Christmas
Premieres: Sunday, December 10 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Tia Mowry, Buddy Valastro, and Luke Humphrey
Plot: Alicia is a former chef, current culinary school instructor who has sort of put her dreams behind her. One day, however, she is served with a chance to compete in the annual Kringle Cook Off. That's where she meets Logan—a familiar name around the Kringle crew, and an attractive one at that.
The Holiday Proposal Plan
Premieres: Saturday, December 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
Stars: Tatyana Ali, Jesse Kove, Geovanni Gopradi, and Whitney Able
Plot: Exes Sonny and Kip are sort of forced to reignite communication when they're both asked to help with the proposal of two of their closest friends. Now on a getaway at a chalet for the holidays, Sonny and Kip are wondering if they should also reignite their own romance.
A Christmas Intern

Merry Magic Christmas

Plot: Beth is an experienced financial planner who is good with numbers. But one thing she can't seem to figure out is why she is seeing a repeated number practically every day. Pondering this question, she decides to take on a pro-bono case at a local theater, where she meets Nate, a guy who means well, but clearly has no idea what he is doing.
Mom’s Christmas Boyfriend

Plot: Lily is a 10-year-old-girl who loves her mother dearly, but also finds herself wanting a dad, too. (She was adopted by her mother as a baby.) So, when she submits a piece in a writing contest stating just that, she finds that Santa may have been listening after all.
