Stop Everything: Hallmark’s Winterfest Starts Tonight
Hallmark released its 2020 Winterfest schedule.
The network is debuting 5 brand-new movies this year.
If you thought you had to wait an entire year for more cozy winter romances from Hallmark, think again. The network will follow up its annual Countdown to Christmas with its next snowy event: Winterfest 2020.
For the third year in a row, Hallmark will deliver five brand-new heartwarming movies to ring in 2020. Winterfest kicks off with its first premiere on January 4 and culminates on January 25. In even better news, Hallmark will air originals from Winterfests past throughout the month, too.
Here’s the full schedule of the movies coming this January, so you don't miss a minute of them.
Winter in Vail
Premieres: Saturday, January 4 at 9 p.m. EST
Los Angeles-based event planner Chelsea (Lacey Chabert) escapes to her inherited chalet in Vail after losing a much-deserved promotion. Suddenly, she finds herself falling for local contractor Owen (Tyler Hynes) and must decide if she’s willing to give up city life for the new home she’s made in Colorado.
Love in Winterland
Premieres: Saturday, January 11 at 9 p.m. EST
Fans of The Bachelor will enjoy this movie that follows Ally (Italia Ricci) who is a final contestant on a dating show. She must return to her hometown when she makes it to the final rounds where she reconnects with her high school sweetheart despite trying to win the bachelor's heart. Chad Michael Murray and Jack Turner play Chelsea's love interests.
Love on Iceland
Premieres: Saturday, January 18 at 9 p.m. EST
Broadway vets (and real life married couple) Patti Murin and Colin Donnell along with Kaitlin Doubleday star in this movie that takes place in the ultimate winter destination, Iceland. Chloe (Kaitlin) goes on a spontaneous trip with friend Isabella (Patti) and others to Iceland but is shocked when her ex Charlie (Colin) tags along unexpectedly. Old feelings arise and the two realize new beginnings might just be possible.
Amazing Winter Romance
Premieres: Monday, January 20 at 9 p.m. EST
Columnist Julia (Jessy Schram) is forced to return home in search of inspiration when her normally upbeat stories turn jaded and sour. With the help from family, her childhood friend Nate (Marshall Williams), and a giant snow maze, Julia starts to find the right words again. But when she realizes she’s in love with Nate, she might be too late.
Hearts of Winter
Premieres: Saturday, January 25 at 9 p.m. EST
An interior designer brings much more than decorating tips to the house of a widower and his daughter, accidentally finding love along the way. Jill Wagner, Victor Webster, and Rukiya Bernard star in the movie.
