Sting & Shaggy Teamed Up for a Joint Album & We Have So Many Questions

It seemed like another normal Friday—until Sting and Shaggy announced they’re releasing a joint album.

Yes, you read that right. Initially, the “It Wasn’t Me” singer and Police frontman were only supposed to collaborate on only one song but, they hit it off, as evidenced by their many Instagram photos together, and decided to make an entire LP.

They just released their first single, “Don’t Make Me Wait,” and its sunny Caribbean melody is the perfect way to start the weekend.

Sting spoke about their unexpected pairing to Rolling Stone saying, “The most important thing to me in any kind of music is surprise. And everybody is surprised by this collaboration—by what they’re hearing. We’re surprising.” Yes, you are, Sting.

“Shing’s” album drops April 20th. Intentional? We think so.
