The singer has announced her first single in almost a decade.

Stevie Nicks is releasing new music for the first time since 2014!

The singer took to her Instagram to announce the upcoming release of a new single with a handwritten letter, which read, "I am so excited to release my new song this Friday. It's called 'For What It's Worth' and it was written by Stephen Stills in 1966. It meant something to me then, and it means something to me now."

She continued, "I always wanted to interpret it through the eyes of a woman – and it seems like today, in the times we live in, that it has a lot to say… I can't wait for you to hear it."

Nicks completed the note with her signature.

"Friday! #ForWhatItsWorth," she captioned the post.

Many fans couldn't contain their excitement and took to the comments to share it.

One fan wrote, "I can't wait… can't wait… can't wait…" while another fan commented, "Thank you so much Stevie, I love you! 💫"

Kathy Griffin even chimed in, writing, "Ready!!!," with country singer Ingrid Andress emphasizing the sentiment: "IM SO READY!!!"

"For What It's Worth" marks Nicks' first release since she dropped the album 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault back in 2014, which featured re-recorded demos written between 1969 and 1987. 2011's In Your Dreams was Nicks' last of newly written music.

Nicks is currently on tour with Vanessa Carlton. The singer is making her way around the United States, wrapping up in Huntsville, Alabama on Oct. 31.
