During a recent round of Fast Money, the beloved game show host found himself in the middle of a dance party celebration courtesy of the Montás family.
After winning their first day on Family Feud, it was up to mother-daughter duo Julie and Jessica to bring home a second victory. With $20,000 on the line and 20 seconds on the clock, Steve asked Julie five questions, including naming a word that rhymes with fizzle, a type of jockey and a place people fight for the armrest. In the end, she earned 160 points. But it wasn’t over just yet.
Next up was Jessica who was asked the exact same questions. Despite struggling a bit to come up with different answers than her mom’s, she earned 50 points and it was enough to win the game for her family. As seen in the video above, the Montás family couldn’t contain themselves after seeing the results on the big board. Following a sweet group hug, two of the contestants, Marcos and Aquiles, broke into wild dance moves.
The unexpected festivities on the game show floor caught Steve off guard. The 64-year-old host wasn’t sure how to react and settled for staring into the camera before pulling himself together. “Well, two-day total 20,470 bucks, and they’re coming right back on Family Feud,” he said. “They can’t win no more money.”
Meanwhile, viewers at home watching the moment on YouTube couldn't handle Steve’s epic response. “I can’t with the dance and Steve’s reaction 😂,” one person wrote. “This is one the best wins I've seen so far,” another added. “I love Steve’s facial reactions to what people say and do. He cracks me up without even having to say a word! 🤣🤣🤣🤣,” a different fan said.
That’s definitely one way to celebrate.
