First we got It, then we got Gerald's Game, and now we’re getting a remake of another Stephen King classic, Pet Sematary. For those of you unfamiliar with the book or previous movie, it's about an ancient burial ground where the dead don’t rest in peace. SHUDDER!

Paramount announced that they'll make a new adaptation of King’s 1983 horror novel. It'll be released on April 19, 2019. Filmmakers Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer are at the helm of the remake. For those not familiar, they're the direction duo behind several episodes of the (highly entertaining!) Scream and the cult horror film, Starry Eyes .

The script will be written by Jeff Buhler, another horror movie staple who wrote a movie called, The Midnight Meat Train. And no, it's not about a delicious buffet on wheels - it's about something totally terrifying and I can't give it away, but rest assured that it's majorly fucked up.

I can't wait for this/am already scared shitless!
