Stephen Fry reportedly suffered a fall while appearing at an event in London last week.

The British actor was speaking on stage at the CogX Festival in London when he had an "accident after giving his inspiration speech on the impact of AI," a spokesperson for the technology conference told The Daily Mail.

Fry, 66, was exiting the stage at The O2 venue on Thursday, Sept. 14 when he fell approximately six feet off the edge of the stage onto the floor, according to the report.

He is said to have been rushed to the hospital after sustaining leg and rib injuries during the fall, while the state of the comedian's condition is currently unclear.

While the Greenwich council has been made aware of the situation, organizers of the festival have already launched their own inquiry into Fry's fall.

In their statement, a spokesperson for the event noted that those at the festival were "deeply concerned" about Fry's well-being, adding, "We are thinking of him and wishing him a swift recovery."

"We have opened our own enquiry and until then we are not able to share any further details," the event's statement concluded.

Fans who were in attendance for the event have also expressed their concern for Fry's well-being, including one person who took to X (formerly Twitter) after the event to say, "thank you for the superb talk at CogX. I hope you are ok also after a tumble."

"Your talk was one of the best and made me think about my role a lot," the fan added.

"Best of luck to the man," someone else chimed in. "Full recovery I hope."
