Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig Look Ripped in a New Photo From 'Heels'

We don't know much about this mysterious Starz channel show, Heels. What we do know is that the two leads on the show look positively ripped, and now, we need answers.

Stephen Amell of Arrow fame and Alexander Ludwig of The Hunger Games look more ripped than ever before in new stills from the eight-episode series, expected to premiere later this year. Amell is seen rocking a wrestling speedo and vest. Meanwhile, Ludwig is clad in a leotard, with a wooden plank in his hand and too many abs to count.

The series will follow two brothers vying for attention on a local wrestling circuit, also starring Mary McCormack. Amell is, of course, no stranger to the swole lifestyle. The 39-year-old shows off his home workouts and rippling muscles on Instagram. Ludwig, too, flaunted his own abs during the course of Amazon Prime's Vikings and lives a pretty active lifestyle.

Back in October 2020, Amell revealed his Covid-19 diagnosis and how isolation impacted his mental health. "When it happened, when I got the positive test, for me it became, 'Holy f---! I just destroyed this show because I'm No. 1 on the call sheet and I work every day, more or less," he told EW. Fortunately, the show was only delayed a day by his diagnosis, and the star was back in the gym weeks later...and clearly, time off has served him well.
