There’s nothing we love more than a great clap back. Donald Trump’s tweet heard ’round the world about Steph Curry had SOOOO many good ones yesterday. But the winner? Ayesha Curry’s response to Trump.

If you missed the exchange that unfolded yesterday, let us catch you up. Trump basically uninvited the 2017 NBA finals champs, the Golden State Warriors, to the White House. Why? Because Steph Curry made a comment saying he would vote to not go.

If you’re not up on your sports traditions, typically American championship-winning teams are invited to visit the White House and meet the president. However, it’s not clear if the Warriors were ever extended an invitation in the first place.

That’s when Trump, in true form, got upset and lashed out on Twitter. Naturally, the internet had a FIELD DAY.

While many athletes and celebrities made LOL-worthy responses, our favorite has got to be the effortless shade thrown by Ayesha Curry.

The basketball player’s wife responded with a simple yet effective eye-roll emoji, as well as a link to donate to UNICEF’s earthquake relief efforts in Mexico. She quickly followed it up with a link to make a contribution to the Hispanic Federation.

Ayesha’s response subtly alludes that she thinks Trump is being petty AF over this whole thing, and that there are far greater issues in the world that we should be paying attention to. She’s not wrong!

A few hours later, the Golden State Warriors released a statement addressing the issue with a unified response.

If Steph Curry and the team aren’t welcome at the White House, they’ll make a trip to D.C. for a better reason.

After the dust settled, Steph spoke up last night.

“My stance is the same as it was yesterday. And even kind of cemented even further,” Curry told reporters. “It’s surreal, to be honest. I don’t know why he feels the need to target certain individuals rather than others. I have an idea of why, but it’s kind of beneath a leader of a country to go that route. It’s not what leaders do.”

Ayesha wasn’t the only celeb to respond to Trump’s petty tweet.

Lebron James’s response made headlines too.

When you’ve pissed off John Legend, you KNOW you’ve done something bad.

If Trump and Curry do ever meet in person, it’ll be very interesting to see how that plays out!
