The Pine Lodge on Whitefish River, located in the charming town of Whitefish, Mont., is the perfect place from which to base your Glacier National Park vacation.

Located in downtown Whitefish just over 30 minutes from the park's West Entrance and 15 minutes from the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort, you'll find family-friendly lodging and have access to some of the best shopping and dining near the park.

The Pine Lodge makes it easy to take advantage of the incredible outdoor recreation opportunities surrounding Whitefish. With a new dock behind the hotel on the banks of the Whitefish River, guests can rent complimentary kayaks and paddle boards to explore the river in the summer months. Adult cruiser bikes and kids' bikes, including helmets, are also complimentary for hotel guests.

Visiting in the winter? Complimentary snowshoes are available at the front desk to enjoy local solitude. The Pine Lodge also takes the hassle out of skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort. You can purchase lift tickets at the front desk to avoid lines when you get to the resort. A complimentary shuttle will drop you off at the mountain, so you can avoid parking and walking to the lifts. Just strap on your skis or board and join the lift line.
