A Stay at This Celeb-favorite Resort Includes $10,000 Worth of Designer Shoes

If we asked you to tell us what the Kardashians, former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, and Jay-Z have in common, you’d probably think we were joking. But we’re not. It turns out that all of the above-mentioned notables have at some point vacationed at the luxury Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic.

And now, inspired by the over-the-top requests of their A-list vacationers, the Caribbean resort is launching a new experience called “In Your Shoes,” which will allow guests to (literally and figuratively) follow in the footsteps of celebrities who have frequented the resort for more than three decades — right down to their Louboutins. With the package, a curated shoe chest filled with $10,000 of designer footwear will be waiting at your sprawling oceanfront villa.

Here’s how it all works: In advance of your seven-day stay, you will have a “shoe closet consultation” by phone or email to review shoe sizes, designer preferences, and styles. You can choose up to six pairs of wedges, heels, slides, or whatever else your heart desires. Think Chanel sandals and Gianvito Rossi alligator pumps — after all we doubt that Kim Kardashian would deign to wear last-minute flip-flops from the resort’s gift shop. You can expect to find your selects in your villa once your helicopter drops you off from the airport (yes, that’s included too).

Other perks range from a dedicated staff that includes a maid, butler, personal chef, and driver to daily spa treatments to a privately guided horseback-riding tour or a yachting day trip. It’s all included. And since you really get to vacation like a star, outrageous requests are actually expected. The list of celebrity-inspired demands includes “an organic smoothie bar, hand-selected floral arrangements, special color palettes like all white or black towels only, scented candles, specific liquors, halogen floor lamps, and more.”

As you may imagine, a vacation like that also comes with a price tag worthy of a very famous person’s paycheck: $350,000. But hey, at least you get to keep the shoes.
