State champions and touchdowns: Vote for the Tennessean boys athlete of the week

Vote now for The Tennessean's high school boys athlete of the week.

Fans may vote one time per hour. The poll ends at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Gabe Borders, Macon County: Borders had four total touchdowns — rushing for a TD, catching one, returning a kickoff and blocking a punt and returning it for a score. He also ran for 85 yards and had 135 receiving yards in a 35-34 win over Stone Memorial.

Eliot Brashear, BGA: Brashear won the Division II-A state title on a playoff hole. He finished the tournament 3-over (147).

Blades Brown, Brentwood Academy: Brown rallied to win the Division II-AA state title for the second consecutive season shooting 10-under (134) for the tournament.

Cole Campbell, Summertown: Campbell was the Division I Class A champion shooting 3-under (141) for the tournament.

Jared Curtis, Nashville Christian: Curtis was 10-for-15 passing for 251 yards and three touchdowns and had two carries for 11 yards and a touchdown in a 49-19 win over Northwest.

Jackson Herrington, Dickson County: Herrington cruised to the Division I Class AA championship shooting 6-under (138) for the tournament.

Darius Johnson, Beech: Johnson had 13 carries for 258 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-10 win over Springfield.

Asher Keck, CPA: Keck ran for 169 yards with a TD on 20 carries in a 35-14 win over Oakland.

Johnothan Moore, MBA: Moore had 15 carries for 125 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-17 win over Ensworth.

D'Arious Reed, Pearl-Cohn: Reed intercepted a pass and blocked a kick, returning it for a touchdown in a 35-23 win over Marshall County.
