Starz Shares a New Outlander Clip Featuring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, Just in Time for Christmas

Just in time for Christmas, Starz is sharing a new clip of the upcoming season of Outlander. In the footage below, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) first discuss if Fraser's Ridge is the best place for an unnamed man to settle.

"When I sent out word to all Ardsmuir men I couldn't very well say all of them but one," Jamie says.

Then, Jamie transitions into remembering how the thought of Claire got him through his time in prison. "You, you were there with me in the prison. I saw you. It's what got me through it. You are always with me. Sometimes I, I think you're an angel Claire," he says. Claire responds, "Would an angel do this?" before kissing Jamie, teasing the romance of the season to come.

Outlander season 6 premieres March 6, 2022 at 9 p.m. ET on Starz. As was previously announced, the season will include eight episodes, with a 90-minute premiere.

“We are excited to get into the editing room to work on bringing the fans one step closer to reuniting with the family back on Fraser’s Ridge,” Matthew B. Roberts, the Outlander showrunner said in a statement earlier this year. “Filming in 2021 has presented an unprecedented set of challenges which led us to the decision to truncate the season in order to bring the fans the most vibrant and dynamic season as soon as possible. Dinna fash, we will then film an extended season seven with 16 episodes next year as life returns to normalcy.”
