Lots of people don't drink dairy milks for a lot of different reasons, be it taste, dietary preferences, or health reasons (lactose intolerance gang rise up!). Well now, Starbucks is offering three new drinks made with plant-based milks, so everyone who doesn't drink dairy is free to get their caffeine fix there in 2020.

Starting today, you can get an Almond Milk Honey Flat White and a Coconut Milk Latte at Starbucks. The Almond Milk Honey Flat White combines shots of Starbucks Blonde Espresso with steamed almond milk and a hint of honey. The Coconut Milk Latte is made with Starbucks Blonde Espresso with steamed coconut milk. It's topped with a strike of Cascara sugar topping for a sweet, non-dairy treat.

I've gotten to try both of these drinks and can say they're pretty delicious. The Almond Milk Flat White is perfect for people who enjoy warm, comforting, drinks, and even as someone who typically despises anything coconut, I finished the entirety of The Coconut Milk Latte. It's great for people who like light and refreshing—but still warm—drinks.

There's also a third plant-based drink: You can order an Oat Milk Honey Latte at approximately 1,300 stores in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. It's made up of shots of Starbucks Blonde Espresso, honey, steamed oat milk, and a toasted honey topping.

Of course this also means you can add plant-based milks to any drink you want, though it's worth noting if you add it to a different handcrafted beverage (like say a latte or Frapp), it could incur a small charge. Adding a splash to your hot coffee? Totally fair game.

While there's nothing wrong with drinking dairy milk (and, quite frankly, if you can, I'm jealous), it's great to see Starbucks listening to so many customers who have been clamoring for these types of drinks made with plant-based milks. Fingers crossed we can all try that Oat Milk Latte soon!
