Starbucks Releases Halloween Witch and Princess Frappuccinos

Nothing says fall at Starbucks like a pumpkin spice latte — except maybe the chain's new Halloween-themed Frappuccinos. Throughout this month, Starbucks stores in Japan are selling limited-edition Halloween Witch and Halloween Princess Frappuccinos, along with matching donuts, Hypebae reports.

Both drinks are beautiful in their own right and capture the flavors of autumn with apple bases. The Halloween Witch Frappuccino has red apple compote at the bottom, milk blended with caramel cookie crumbs in the middle, and chocolate sauce on top of the milk and swirled over the whipped cream. The Halloween Princess Frappuccino has apple compote mixed with white mocha and milk, leaving it a princess-like pale pink, and edible pearls over the whipped cream on top.

Like many of Starbucks's most unique offerings, these are sadly only available in Japan — also home to the Pink Medley Tea Latte, the Key Lime Cream and Yogurt Frappuccino, and, ironically, the American Cherry Pie Frappuccino.

Stateside Starbucks fanatics may not get these Halloween specials, but they can look forward to the store's adorable new holiday cups and gifts. In the meantime, there's still time to enjoy plenty of PSLs.
