Starbucks Is Offering Buy One, Get One on Drinks This Thursday

It's the first happy hour in several months.

There have been many changes in our every day lives in the past few months, including coffee runs to Starbucks. First, the company shut down many of its stores. Then, it opened them back up, but with only the drive-thru and carryout options available. Fortunately, the coffee company has continued with its buy one, get one deal on drinks. And you can take advantage of that offer today, November 12.

But before you head to your local shop, there are a few important details you need to know. To reap the benefits of this offer, you need to be a Starbucks rewards member. And if you're not a member yet, you can become one in just a few minutes. All you have to do is visit the Starbucks website, create an account, and you're ready to bask in your first reward. My favorite part of the membership: I use the app on my phone to pay for drinks, which means fewer points of contact and a faster checkout experience.

Now, back to the BOGO. According to the company's website, you can take advantage of the deal at any Starbucks location on Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m., order any handcrafted drink (size grande or larger) and get another beverage for free. The offer is loaded directly onto the Starbucks app, so make sure you have that downloaded before you order. Although the deal does include all the seasonal beverages, including the toasted white chocolate mocha and the chestnut praline latte, there are a few exclusions. The second drink must be of equal or lesser value, and the deal cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. The promotion does not include hot coffee, hot brewed tea, ready-to-drink beverages, or Starbucks Reserve drinks.

If you can't make it to this week's BOGO event, don't worry, it won't be the last time Starbucks offers this deal. Customers will be notified via email or the app the day before the selected Thursday of any upcoming happy hour.
