Starbucks Is Now Giving Away Free Drinks Every Day Until the New Year
Yes, yes, I know you read a similar headline super recently (Starbucks is, after all, currently having its last weekly Happy Hour for the month of December), but, boy, is this story different. Not only are your beloved caffeine pals over at Starbucks doing that whole Happy Hour deal right now, but they are also giving away free espresso drinks every day through the new year.
Granted, the new year is just about five days from now, but for each of those five days, Starbucks is throwing a free coffee party in different locations across the country.
Here's how it works: Every day (starting tomorrow!), StarbucksPopUp.com will reveal the location of an event near you. Over the course of those days, more than 200 different Starbucks outposts will hold one of these parties. Once you know where the party's at, you can head over between 1 and 2 p.m. for "a free tall handcrafted espresso drink," the site explains.
There are, of course, stipulations (besides the dates) (and the times) (and the locations) (and the—you get it). Not only do you have to snap up your coffee within that hour window, but you have to do so without the help of Uber Eats or mobile ordering. That's right, y'all. You have to show up to this party and talk to other people in order to secure your free coffee.
Dreadful, I know! But there's a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is whispering "freeeeeeee coffeeeeeeee." Here's to more of that in the new year, huh?
